Have you ever given much consideration to the food you consume? You are right; we all have. Many foods that we eat are not organic, but they are easy to get hold of, and we do not give much thought to where they came from or how many chemicals and poisons they contain. In spite of being a vital part of our lives since it provides the energy our bodies need to function; the wellness of our bodies is determined by the food we eat daily. It is true that without food, the body would not be able to carry out everyday chores or operate properly. Aside from that, our bodies need a wide range of nutrients to function correctly. In the food we eat, all of these nutrients may be found in plenty. This suggests that individuals should exercise caution regarding their diets, as health issues are almost inevitable if they do not take note of what they consume. Worldwide rates of obesity and overweight among adults have climbed by 27.5 per cent during the previous 33 years, while rates among children have increased by 47.1% (Bandi et al., 2021). People are being swayed by the convenience of fast-food restaurants and the wide variety of ready-to-eat items accessible in supermarkets and fast-food stores. Many people are giving up on the idea of eating a healthy diet because it is too expensive and inconvenient. Every year, more and more individuals get fat and people do not appear to need any assistance or guidance in terms of eating healthfully, even though what they eat is by far toxic to the body. If we do not do something about the rise in health problems, we will see an increase in the number of illnesses and deaths related to our foods and even death to our beloved home, earth.

Today, many people have difficulties in their dietary habits. People with hectic schedules frequently lack time to cook healthful meals, so they rely on fast, convenient options instead. As soon as everything is completed on time and get a break from their work, people think of a meal and as a result, fast food lines are often crowded, especially during noon. This is one of the primary reasons individuals eat three times a day or more. Obesity will follow as a result. Obesity may have a severe impact on a person’s health. An obese person’s entire body is under stress because of their weight. Type 2 diabetes, Heart disease, hypertension, stroke, and infertility are just some of the health issues resulting from smoking (Bandi et al., 2021). Obesity appears to be a significant factor in the development of a wide range of disorders. Obesity rates in the United States have risen precipitously in recent years, and it does not look like they will go down any time soon.

Organic food, in particular, should be a priority for those who want to avoid a wide range of illnesses linked to a poor diet. In the beginning, it is difficult to adapt to a healthy diet, but as time goes on, it becomes easier. Food diversity supplies the body with essential minerals and vitamins, which helps keep it healthy and free of disease. Foods have distinct roles to play in the human body for each type of fruit and vegetable. Your bones, organs, and muscles will function optimally if you eat a well-balanced diet every day. Equivalent portions of food can help people stay in shape and build a more muscular physique. As an example, potassium in the milk helps to strengthen and protect the muscles. Similarly, eating the appropriate meals can help you lose weight. A person’s daily calorie intake can be used to maintain a healthy weight. This indicates that daily caloric consumption should be limited to no more than 2,000. You may prevent becoming lazy and injuring yourself if you maintain a healthy weight. I am saying that cutting back on added sugar, trans fats, and alcohol is the best method to lose weight, as these foods pack a lot of calories but offer few if any, nutritional benefits. People should limit their intake of sweets and alcohol but instead, eat fruit as a substitute.

When it comes to grocery shopping, organic food has become a popular topic of conversation. Organic vs non-organic food is a hotly debated topic. Organic foods are cultivated without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. It has a wide range of positive effects on the human body and the surrounding environment. Produce farmed genetically or chemically creates a chock-full of poisonous substances, as their crops are protected from pests and illnesses by heavy reliance on pesticides that are chemically harmful fertilizers to the body. Because of this, organic food is a better choice for consumers. There are no pesticides or fertilizers applied to organic vegetables and thereby is safe for human consumption.

Because organic food is grown without the use of hormones, it is healthier and more nutrient-dense. If a person eats a pesticide-treated food item, they will almost certainly eat it. The soil where crops are cultivated must be tested and proved free of most chemical fertilizers and pesticides that alter the soil composition. It is impossible that the crops were genetically altered. Organic farmers, by all means, take great care in the soil they use to cultivate their crops. Pesticides carried by the wind from traditional farms are not an issue since they go the additional mile to guarantee everything is free of pesticides. Most essential, producers ensure that their crops do not contain genetically modified organisms (GMOs).  Genetic farmers go to great lengths to protect their crops from anything that may compromise the natural process of growing them. They put everything they have into reaping maximum benefits from their farms, and this means they do not care about what will happen to the consumer but what the consumer is willing to pay for the produce.

Despite the fact that we as teens consume a large number of unhealthy foods and appear to be unconcerned with the origins of the food we consume, we are worried about the future of our world and do our part by recycling and turning off the lights when we are not using them. Eating organic food, on the other hand, has been shown to have an equally positive impact on the environment. There is a long period of time required for soil to recover from damage caused by non-organic plants, which can take more than a century. Using these planting practices results in soil erosion and air pollution that is harmful to the environment. This is why organic food is a better choice for farmers and us as consumers since it reduces dust and other air pollutants. Even though organic food, is more expensive, it is still the healthiest option. Organic food has more of the essential vitamins and minerals that are needed to maintain a healthy body. As noted in my arguments, fruits and vegetables cultivated organically taste fresher, stronger, and more vibrant than those grown conventionally, which adds incentive to the health benefits of organic foods. Consider the importance of consuming organic foods because they are not contaminated with any chemicals. People will be compelled to eat organic because of its abundance of nutrients, which they may enjoy regularly. It is a simple method to assist the environment and our health. When people support and demand the production of organically grown food, we may help the future generation of people; however, it is difficult; this is a goal that is worth pursuing and completing! Our world, our countries, and ourselves will benefit if we eat healthily. Organic food production must be supported, and we must use the most straightforward method possible to get the most out of it.
